Gardening with freezing temperatures

Last week we left for Dusseldorf to spend 3 days with friends. It was a joint operation, there was a private sale of DEDEM creations, and Pierre gave advise on gardening.
It was minus 17 which didn't stop anybody to spend hours outside looking at pruning from big trees to roses. Despite the cold it's the ideal time of the year to decide what to do in the garden and to prune. Everything can be pruned as long as it has no leaves! The guys from the public works of the city of Dusseldorf were explained how to prune the lane! This adventure will be continued as Pierre will be back in Dusseldorf shortly to give advise on the English landscaped park and how to restore certain aspects without losing the aesthetics of the park and gardens. A very beautiful project to work on!
