2 days before the concert I was casual informed that John Elliot Gardener was performing Bach with the Monteverdi Choir + English Baroque Soloists at the Chapelle Royal Chateau de Versailles. By miracle I obtained tickets on the internet without any difficulties!
The whole evening was very special, the location the setting of the sun on the grand canal behind the castle. But most of all the concert itself. The music was superb the interior of the chapel impressive. All in all a memorable evening!
