What is a very nice tradition in the countryside in France, is that owners of a small vineyard invite all their friends to come and help to harvest their grapes. Everybody is relaxed chatting away and complaining of back ache Half way there is substantial snack, rilette, sausages of various types some wine.
Once all the grapes have been harvested, the grapes need to be sorted before being pressed. When all this is done a late long lunch follows! A very nice way to pass a Saturday in the French countryside! No questions are asked about the quality of the final product!
