The Islamic Art Department, Le Louvre Paris

In Paris I visited the new Islamic Art Department in le Louvre. I really enjoyed it, worth a visit!
Like always when looking at ancient art, whatever the culture that are some items which are so contemporary. It really makes one humble, don't have the illusion you are creating something new, it's more a  reinterpretation or reinvention of something which was done long ago! Even if one is not always aware of it.
However, the pleasure of creating remains despite this awareness.
